This exhibition takes one into the heart of a rural community that faces the challenges of modernisation in South Africa. The Centre for Population Studies at Wits University, continues to research the changing lives of this community who have undergone resettlement during the times of apartheid, a flood of Mozambican refugees who came to live there during the civil war in that country and the ongoing challenges of HIV/AIDS.
